The World’s Most Expensive Car

Even if you have $35 million to throw around, don’t count on getting your hands on The Bugatti Type 57SC Atlantic; the most expensive car in the world. It is an incredibly rare breed with only two in existence today.

This intricately designed car, considered by many to be the most beautiful pre-war car, has a low stance, 200 bhp engine, and lightweight construction.  Designed in the 1930’s—it is reminiscent of the era with a tear-drop silhouette.  One of the surviving cars is under the ownership of a private collector and now on exhibit at the Mullin Automotive Museum in Oxnard, Cali. The other is in the collection of Ralph Lauren.
