THE SCENE :: LOS ANGELES – Randall Slavin & Charlize Theron Present Slavin’s New Work

On October 12, superstar host Charlize Theron and world-renowned shutterbug Randall Slavin collaborated to host a private cocktail private party to present Slavin’s newest body of photographic work, a celebrity photo series titled REACH: 24 portraits by Randall Slavin to benefit the Charlize Theron Africa Outreach Project.

Celebrity guests included Michelle Monaghan, Michael C. Hall, Sarah Silverman, Zach Braff, Ciara, Perrey Reeves, James Van Der Beek, Jason Biggs, Sanaa Lathan, Gabrielle Union, Bonnie Summerville, Roxane Mesquida, Martin Henderson, Jamie Chung, Elizabeth Reaser, Wendi McLendon-Covey, Leonor Varela, Ivana Milicevic and Sasha Alexander, among others.

The star-studded guest list enjoyed Grey Goose cocktails at they perused Slavin’s celebrity photo series.  Slavin is widely regarded as one of the most talented commercial photographers today and has a unique cinematic approach.

All proceeds from the event benefited the Charlize Theron Africa Outreach Project, or CTAOP, an organization committed to reducing HIV/AIDS and sexual violence in Africa. CTAOP partners with other organizations that provide HIV/AIDS preventative education in order to work toward this goal.
