THANKSGIVING DINNER AT FONTAINEBLEAU MIAMI BEACH

The iconic Fontainebleau Miami Beach is home to several of the city’s most acclaimed restaurants and many of them will be making Thanksgiving especially delicious this year on Thursday, November 24, 2011.

Everyone is thankful Gotham Steak is going all-out for Thanksgiving; serving a special dinner on Thanksgiving Day. From 4 p.m. until 10 p.m., a traditionally inspired Thanksgiving meal will be served, including roast turkey breast, slow smoked turkey leg, Yukon potato puree, roasted quince with Alsatian cabbage and pork belly, while a decadent dessert of warm apple almond cake with pumpkin coulis and rum raisin ice cream will more than satisfy your sweet tooth.

Scarpetta is offering a special, Italian inspired Thanksgiving Day buffet dinner, from 2 p.m. to 8 p.m. A carving station will serve an array of traditional Thanksgiving dishes, such as slow cooked turkey breast, leg of lamb, buttermilk chestnut biscuits, stuffing and cranberry sauce. For those who want to enjoy Scarpetta’s acclaimed Italian cuisine, there will be a pasta station with pumpkin tortelli and the restaurant’s signature spaghetti tomato & basil, among others. A wide selection of desserts will include Panettone bread pudding and a duo of chocolate mousse & hazelnut praline.

Liven up your dining experience at Vida on Thanksgiving Day where brunch will be served from noon to 4 p.m.  Brunch lovers will be delighted with the omelet station, French toastand sliced fresh fruits, while the sauté station will offer mouthwatering truffle risotto and marjoram lemon prawns, and rotisserie favorites will include choices such as honey glazed ham roasted pineapple and herb five spice rub turkey. Scrumptious sweet snacks include chocolate truffles, fudge brownies, assorted macaroons and marshmallows. Vida’s Thanksgiving Day dinner buffet will be served from 6 p.m. to 10 p.m. Blade sushi & ceviche bar will offer assorted fresh maki, crab claws, specialty rolls & nigiriand aji Amarillo red snapper ceviche. An array of sides will be served including traditional stuffing, roasted garlic mashed potatoes and maple baked yams.  For dessert, enjoy a pumpkin or apple pie, bourbon pecan tarts and cranberry apple brioche bread pudding.

For those who want to break away from the traditional meals of the season, Fontainebleau’s authentic Cantonese restaurant, Hakkasan, will also be open for dinner on Thanksgiving Day. The restaurant will serve their usual dinner menu, including delicious delicacies such as steamed lobster with garlic and chili and ginger onion sliced roasted duck. Enjoy one of Hakkasan’s many desserts such as white chocolate mousse with passion fruit sorbet.
