Simon Helberg Buys Charlie Sheen’s House

Charlie Sheen is having a “winning” week. The actor’s house –not the famed Mulholland Estates enclave, but rather a 1927 L.A. mini-mansion purchased in 2007 with third ex-wife Brooke Mueller, was purchased by The Big Bang Theory actor Simon Helberg and his wife Jocelyn Towne.

Charlie Sheen and Brooke Mueller purchased the Mediterranean style home in Nov. 2007 for $2,575,000 but never lived in it.  They invested a heavy sum into the property—adding expensive and tasteful renovations while maintaining the original architectural feel of the Los Feliz residence.  In June 2009, the then-married couple put the property back on the market for $3,697,000.

The property was taken off the open market in May 2011; in the midst of Charlie Sheen’s now infamous feud with Two and a Half Men producers and public display of erratic behavior.  The actor and his ex-wife were apparently still open to offers because property record show that Simon Helberg and his wife purchased the beautiful home in mid-October of this year for $2,900,000.
