Grammy-winning pop star Rihanna’s Beverly Hill’s mansion is on the market, but according to reports the property is not so haute.  The superstar purchased the contemporary 8-bedroom and 10-bathroom mansion in September 2009 for $6,900,00.  In August of this year it was reported that Rihanna was less than pleased with her dwellings and filed a lawsuit against the property developer (amongst others).

Rihanna claims, in public documents, that there are tragic design and construction flaws in the home that result in rain intruding the house, even in mild storms.  The lawsuit also claims the seller—named as Heather Rudomin—failed to disclose the defects, which is a fraud in California.

Neither the status of the lawsuit nor the current state of the property is known.  The property’s listing states that it may be “subject to short sale” and the seller “will consider all offers”.  It looks like Rihanna will have to cut a multi-million dollar loss; the city-view property has been listed with an asking price of $4,500,000.
