Amongst the atypical was a gemstone bathtub and the most expensive handbag in the world. The Mouawad 1001 Nights Diamond cluth purse is a heart shaped, handcrafted and diamond encrusted beauty that is sure to be more precious than the items it safeguards.
Priced at $3.8 million, the Guinness Book of World Records confirmed that the bag is the most expensive in the world. The body of the purse was made from 18K gold and then covered with a total of 4,517 diamonds—weighing in at 381 carats. The purse is handcrafted by ten superiorly skilled craftsmen and took 8,800 hours to complete.
