On Thursday, November 10, 2011, Mina + Olya launched their luxury fashion line, Minolya. The new collection features organic and sustainable couture clothing, a ground-breaking concept in the world of high fashion.
Mina + Olya’s timeless pieces were a hit with an exclusive gathering of San Francisco socialites, esteemed members of the press, and fellow designers. The ready-to-wear collection is a stunning showcase of women’s separates: organic coats, suits, blouses, dresses, gowns, skirts, and pants. Pieces are designed to be worn individually, or paired with other pieces in the collection. Each piece is made using only organic materials such as organic cotton, wool, silks, and denim. When asked about the women they dress, Mina + Olya responded, “Our girl is sophisticated, elegant, and knows where she’s going.” The collection reflects Mina + Olya’s captivating viewpoint of timeless sophistication.
Founded in 2011, Mina + Olya is named after its two founders, Olga Dzilikhova and Mina Yazdi, who came together with the shared passion and vision of producing environmentally-conscious apparel using sustainable and organic fabrics. Their unique approach is to bring sustainability and fair-trade practices to the world of high fashion. “Mina and I started our firm with the goal to create exquisite pieces for today’s modern woman, seeking definition in her style and sustainability in her world.”

This weekend, the Rock ‘n’ Roll Marathon takes over Las Vegas Boulevard shutting it down for the night on Sunday. But on Saturday, hundreds of women will have the chance to strap on a pair of high heels and run for a good cause. The Rock ‘n’ Roll Las Vegas Stiletto Dash presented by the Palazzo brings in “Dancing with the Stars” host Brooke Burke for a night of running heats in heels.
The first ever Rock ‘n’ Roll Stiletto Dash will benefit two charities: the local Las Vegas-based Opportunity Village, a not-for-profit organization that serves people with intellectual disabilities, and Operation Smile, a nonprofit that treats facial deformities such as cleft lips and palates worldwide.
Beginning at 5 p.m., the 50-yard dash will begin at the grand lobby of the Palazzo and finish in the casino near Laguna Champagne Bar. Close to 500 participants are expected, decked out in fabulous outfits to complement their heels and competing in multiple heats for a $5,000 first-place purse and other exciting prizes. Each participant will receive an exclusive gift bag and invited to attend a post-dash party.
The Rock ‘n Roll Stiletto Dash will kick off the largest nighttime running event in the world, the Zappos.com Rock ‘n’ Roll Las Vegas Marathon and 1/2 Marathon to benefit the Crohn’s & Colitis Foundation, taking place on Sunday, Dec. 4. Starting and finishing at Mandalay Bay, the marathon will begin at 4 p.m., with the half marathon starting at 5:30 p.m.

A tasting experience of the Caviar Aperitivo will be available to the general public from December 1st – 3rd, from 5pm – 8:30pm in the Calvisius Caviar Lounge at the Four Seasons Hotel.
The Caviar Aperitivo is an introduction to the 10-gram tins—unique to Calvisius Caviar—and is designed to make Calvisius Caviar’s varieties more accessible and approachable.
Most easily found at their ultra-chic lounge in the ground floor of New York City’s Four Seasons hotel, Calvisius is the top choice caviar for Gordon Ramsay in NYC’s London Hotel. It’s also served on the first class flights of Lufthansa Airline, Thai Airline, and Singapore Airline. Its taste and quality are unlike any other, as Calvisus is both farmer and producer—not like your typical merchant who must go through several middlemen. With a sustainable aquaculture farm located in the Brescian lowlands of Calvisano, Italy, Calvisius has direct control over every aspect of its fish and their eventual product.
Priced at $99 per person, four premium caviars—40 grams in total—will be offered, paired with a shot of vodka or a glass of champagne orchestrated by Calvisius Caviar experts. Each caviar variety will be described along with the various etiquettes and serving traditions.
For reservations: 212.207.8222
Calvisius Caviar Lounge is located at 58 East 58 Street, in the ground level of the Four Seasons Hotel. It is open from 12-9 PM daily
