New at The Bass Museum of Art: Erwin Wurm: Beauty Business

The Bass Museum of Art on Miami Beach is a museum that honors impressive artistic works from the past with their year-round collections, while simultaneously celebrating contemporary artists today through a continuous assortment of new exhibitions.  On December 1st, during Art Basel Miami, artist Erwin Wurm will debut his latest exhibition, entitled Erwin Wurm: Beauty Business, at the Bass Museum of Art.

Beauty Business magnifies the significance of an individual’s home. The home is the “in-between space where one may hesitate between worlds,” and likewise is a sacred and unique place for each and every person. The work of Wurm has also been seen in prestigious museums around the world such as the Guggenheim and the Musee d’Art Contemporain de Lyon.

During Art Basel Miami, special museum hours will be: Thursday, December 1 through Sunday, December 4, 2011, 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. The exhibition will be available for viewing through March 4, 2012.
