Esteemed car company Lotus, known for the iconic Lotus Elise sports car, recently announced the opening of its first China showroom in the trendy Chaoyang district. The showroom officially debuted earlier this month fully equipped with six exclusive models: the Elise R, Elise SC, Evora, Evora IPS, Exige S 240 and the Exige S 260.
The showroom is a whopping 600-meter-square space, with a sleek and modern interior that has been likened to the aesthetics of both Apple and Tesla. Ten more stores are scheduled to open across China in 2012, a strategic move that is likely to significantly increase sales from the 300 sold since the company began its expansion into China earlier this year.
