FORTUNE celebrated it’s 2011 FORTUNE 40 Under 40 list in San Francisco at the Zynga headquarters on Thursday October 27th, with over 250 guests. Mayor Ed Lee, Mark Pincus (Zynga), Tim Westergren (Pandora), Andy Serwer (Fortune), Stephen Jenkins (Third Eye Blind), Brook Byers (KPCB), Graziano de Boni (Armani), Gary Friedman (Restoration Hardware), Jeremy Andrus (Skullcandy), Ron Conway (VC), Gary Kovaks (Mozilla), Trip Adler (Scribd), Ali Pincus (One Kings Lane), and Max Levchin (Slide) joined the event to honor the 2011 list of the hottest young stars in business.

40 Under 40 and “Ones to Watch” attendees included Marissa Mayer (Google), Hosain Rahman (Jawbone), David Rhodes (CBS), Carolyn Everson (Facebook), Kevin Systrom (Instagram), Drew Houston (Dropbox), Arash Ferdowsi (Dropbox), Bonin Bough (PepsiCo), Michael Hasenstab (Franklin Templeton Investments), Mike Caren (Atlantic/Elektra Records), Tor Myhren (Grey New York), and Jeff George (Sandoz International), among others.

FORTUNE editors and writers such as Leigh Gallagher, Jessi Hempel, Adam Lashinsky, Miguel Helft, Matt Vella, JP Mangalidan and Michal Lev-Ram also hosted the event. President of Digital for Time Inc.’s News Group, John Cantarella, plus FORTUNE publisher, Jed Hartman, also joined.

Pandora’s Tim Westergren was a guest DJ during the event and there were branded FORTUNE beer pong tables, photos by Robyn Twomey, barrels of wine on tap, fresh sushi, and mini empanadas. Sponsors included NASDAQ, Armani, Samsonite; the gift bag included a Samsonite laptop bag, Armani hoodie, Henri Bendel gift card, Claire’s Squares, Clinique products, Skull Candy ear buds, Tom’s Sunglasses as well as an Uber credit towards future rides, among other items.
