Haute 100 Update: Robert De Niro and John Travolta to Star in New Action Film

Film legends Robert De Niro and John Travolta will be getting together for an upcoming action film called Killing Season. The film will be shot under the direction of Mark Steven Johnson and will find the two iconic actors challenged by each other and the treacherous Appalachian Mountain territory.
Production beings on Jan. 16, 2012 and features a script by Evan Daugherty.
De Niro will play an American military veteran while Travolta will take on the role of a European tourist. The two are friendly until the veteran realizes that the tourist is actually a Serbian soldier with a goal of revenge.
“We’re excited to be co-financing and co-producing this film with Corsan, and to be working again with Robert De Niro and John Travolta,” said Avi Lerner of Millenium Films. “We’ve never seen these two great actors on screen together before, and we’re excited to see what comes of the combination.”
