Haute 100 Update: H&M Looking to Tom Ford for Next Collaborative Collection

Fashion retailer H&M, the second largest in the world, is looking to fashion icon Tom Ford for their next collaborative designer collection.

The company thinks that Ford would be a great follow-up to their latest Versace collection, which is set to hit stores this week. H&M’s creative advisor Margareta van den Bosch describing Ford, Gucci’s former creative director, as “a very interesting name.” Of the potential collaboration, she adds, “I can say, I wouldn’t mind.”

If Ford were to agree to the collaboration to follow the Versace collection, his would be the ninth partnership between H&M and a designer since the company started selling clothing by Chanel creative director Karl Lagerfeld in November 2004.
