Haute 100 Update: Facebook’s Zuckerberg and Sandberg Talk Shop on ‘Charlie Rose’

Facebook’s CEO Mark Zuckerberg and COO Sheryl Sandberg made a rare joint appearance for an hour-long interview on “Charlie Rose”, which airs on PBS and Bloomberg.
The social media stalwart’s top two executives both made their first appearances on the show last night, Nov. 7. Interviewer and broadcast journalist Charlie Rose is characterized by his wide-ranging interviews, resulting in a revealing episode touching on big-picture questions about issues like Facebook’s competition with Google, user privacy, company goals, IPO plans, and more.
Also discussed in the episode are conversations Zuckerberg had with the late Steve Jobs, co-founder of Apple, who had previously said that he admired the 27-year-old Zuckerberg. “I had a lot of questions for him,” said Zuckerberg, including “how to build a team around you that’s focused on building as high-quality and good things as you are.”
