Golden Aston Martin
Aston Martin, already the pinnacle of luxury, has found a way to up the ante. The Aston Martin Cygnet; the carmaker’s ultra posh city car based on the Toyota IQ has been produced in gold armor. Other carmakers, including Dartz and BMW have produced golden cars in the past but this is the first from Aston Martin.
The Midas touched Cygnet features a 1.3-liter straight-four engine which provides 98bhp and 123Nm of torque. The car received the gold treatment at the company’s Gaydon, UK headquarters and was shared via Facebook.

A 1994 Aston Martin Virage Volante, used by HRH Prince Charles, will be sold at Bonhams as part of its Aston Martin Sale at Aston Martin Works Service May 19.
