Christmas comes to Regent Street
We’ve had Halloween and Bonfire Night, so now it’s time to start celebrating Christmas! Londoners can enter into the Christmas spirit later today, when the world famous Regent Street Christmas lights are switched on.

Celebs such as actors Bill Nighy and Ashley Jensen (the voices of Grandsanta and Bryony in the new family 3D film, Arthur Christmas), Kelly Clarkson, Matt Cardle and the cast of Thriller, amongst others, will be on hand to help transform Regent Street into a veritable wonder wonderland.

The festive extravagansa, which will be presided over by Heart 106FM DJs Jamie Theakston and Emma ‘Baby Spice’ Bunton, kicks off at 5pm with the Christmas light show – entitled Unity – starting at 6pm.
But the fun won’t end once the dazzling lights are switched on! Many of the Regent Street stores will be staying open late, for the evening.

All told, it looks set to be a stylish start to the festive season…
