Chef Angelo Elia’s Winter Truffle Extravaganza

Chef Angelo Elia is the mastermind behind Casa D’Angelo restauraunts, and Delray Beach’s newest addition D’Angelo Trattoria. On Tuesday, December 6th, Elia will be creating a special five-course “Winter Truffle Extravaganza” dinner at the historic James Beard House in New York City.

Elia will be joining forces with Chef Rickie Piper for the evening, bringing guests decadent menu options such as porcini-aged fontina gratin seasoned with shaved white Alba truffles, tagliolini with buffalo butter and shaved white Alba truffles and ricotta-truffled egg yolk in a raviolone with puréed yellow squash. The dessert course is a millefoglie pastry with truffle honey, filled with ricotta, anisette cream and garnished with caramelized oranges.
