Chef Angelo Elia Opens D’Angelo Trattoria in Delray Beach

Casa D’Angelo has three standing locations situated in Fort Lauderdale, Boca Raton and at the Atlantis Hotel in Paradise Island. Chef Angelo Elia is regarded as one of the best in providing an authentic Italian dining experience through both excellent cuisine and a warm setting. Opening this month, D’Angelo Trattoria is Chef Angelo Elia’s new contemporary restaurant, serving up Roman-inspired fare.

The location for Elia’s new restaurant will be in a 1920’s cottage in Delray Beach, where he will transform it’s four walls into an authentic Italian home that is both charming and cozy. Some of the items on the menu include:
Bucatini de cecco with wild boar ragout and shave-aged ricotta
Tortellini emiliani with tender veal, flavored with mushrooms, peas and prosciutto in a Reggiano cream sauce
Classic gnocchi of semolina and golden potato with buffalo mozzarella, cherry tomato sauce and fresh basil
Marinated grilled Cornish hen with garlic olives and fennel
“Baba” made from rich sponge cake leavened and soaked in liquor syrup
The restaurant offers complimentary valet and serves dinner from Sunday to Thursday 5:30 p.m. to 11 p.m. and Friday and Saturday from 5:30 p.m. to midnight. D’Angelo Trattoria is located at 9 SE 7th Avenue in Delray Beach just off Atlantic Avenue.
