Boxing Champion Manny Pacquiao’s Hollywood Hangouts

Manny Pacquiao is a world-class boxing champion and when it comes down to preparing for a match, he hunkers down in Hollywood for a few rituals that he believes will guarantee another win.
Besides being a champion boxer, Manny Pacquiao is also a congressman, philanthropist, businessman, actor, budding musician and family man in his native Philippines. But when it’s time to prepare for one of his major boxing matches, Pacquiao enjoys a ritual that he believes brings him good luck in the ring.
The Wall Street Journal recently followed Pacquiao around for a week as he hit the Wild Card (a boxing club owned by Coach Roach, dined at a local Thai restaurant (Nat’s Thai Food) and played a game of darts and chess with his massive entourage in a small Hollywood apartment. Despite owning a massive home in Hancock Park, Pacquiao enjoys hanging out at the smaller residence at times.
The Wild Card typically closes down when Pacquiao comes in for training, but on Thursday gossip website TMZ spotted Kobe Bryant sneaking in a work out at the same time that Pacquiao was inside training.
After training the other day, Pacquiao demonstrated another talent of his when he stopped by the Jimmy Kimmel Live show to sing karaoke (“How Deep Is Your Love” by the Bee Gees).
Pacquiao’s next boxing match is against Juan Manuel Marquez.
