Would you prefer Prada or Parada 22 for lunch? Do you really think that a pair of Prada, black patent leather Mary Janes, are actually edible over a plate of 22’s Cuban appetizers? Why not just toss on a pair of Prada’s and hail the next cab to Parada 22? That might be the most viable option in such a certain fashion and food frenzy! For starters, would you wear a pair of circa 2009 (Fall-Ready-To-Wear) leather wide-topped boots in Fall 2011?

Only if you were off the grid and didn’t get the memo, that it’s 2011 not 2009. Well, Parada 22 is always in season and is always up-to-date on their Puerto Rican food dishes, so they wouldn’t promote yesterday’s food, but today’s dishes on the menu! Dishes such as; Trucha Frita(whole fried Idaho Trout) or irresistible plantains with Pernil Asado, which is roasted pork marinated with an oregano base and a dash of fresh garlic to tease those taste buds.

Now for the ambiance of this colorful spot, it’s almost as if they gathered the color palette off of Jil Sanders, 2011 Ready-To-Wear Spring collection. With the sea green base coat, for this spicy venue and the cobalt blue décor, it’s a quite the eye candy on Haight Street! What better location can one get, than in the Haight, where all the main action happens and people flow is just so consistent! As for the plates at 22, what orgasmic dish seems to be a trend at this spot? What do most people crave, want and desire? It’s amazing how much food is such a luxury, desirable thing, as designer goods have the same effect, but with a bigger budget. So, if one wants to stay away from those dainty, break your piggy bank, little bags and save some bucks, 22 is going to be your best bet! And it will satisfy your appetite! P.S. The San Francisco Giants have been spotted here too, if one wants to hangout in autograph central!
