The Legend Returns: Amnesia Miami Opens Tonight

The wait is over: co-owners Andre Boudou, Gregory Boudou, Bob Sinclar and Pierre Denain are excited host the grand opening of Amnesia Miami tonight. Amnesia Miami had the command of the nightlife scene between 1993 and 1996, and now its back in its original location on Collins Avenue.

“I built the first Amnesia Miami 20 years ago and now, together with my son Gregory, we have combined our experiences from previous ventures around the world to enhance the Amnesia concept with all new, top of the line technology,” said Amnesia Founder and co-owner Andre Boudou.

Co-owner Gregory Boudou adds, “After working closely with the world’s best DJs for over 20 years, I designed Amnesia with the purpose of providing the best possible room for artists to showcase their talent.”

The transformed Amnesia Miami is an expansive 29,000 square feet of all-white interior featuring over 150 innovative light fixtures. Sounds stream from a custom Funktion One sound system, and five LED screens contribute to the sultry and sophisticated ambiance of the club. Seventy VIP tables, two private sections and a 2nd floor mezzanine complement the spacious dance floor.

“With the combination of my influence and this one-of-a-kind musician’s haven, Amnesia Miami will lend itself to be the playground for the world’s most highly recognized celebrities and artists,” said co-owner, DJ and music producer Bob Sinclar.
