Poilâne to launch London restaurant
Internationally renowned artisan bakery, Poilâne, is to open an informal all-day dining concept in Chelsea, next month.
Tucked behind Sloane Square, the Cuisine de Bar by Poilâne will be the first dining venue from the bakery in London, following the launch of their original Parisian establishment, which opened on the Rue du Cherche-Midi, St Germain des Prés 15 years ago.

Guests will get to sit at the eating bar, where Cuisine de Bar chefs will make fresh tartines to order, find a space at a series of individual and communal tables or settle in front of the fireplace in the lounge.
On the food front, the restaurant will serve classic French dishes, including croissants and eggs, for breakfast, Poilâne’s savoury tartines and salads for lunch and dinner plus freshly made Poilâne pastries throughout the day.

All told, for discerning bread lovers, Cuisine de Bar by Poilâne looks set to be a great new addition to the London bakery scene.
