Have you heard about the $30,000+ backpack being sold for The Row, designer house of twins’ Mary-Kate and Ashley Olsen? Yeah, don’t worry about it — it’s sold out.
Though it was first reported that the backpack was made of crocodile skin and cost $35,000, it is in fact made of alligator skin and costs just $34,000. In case you were wondering. And according to Ashley, “It was the first thing that sold off the shelf…During our last economic crisis in the U.S., the only thing that went up was Hermès.”
Though to be fair, one can venture to guess there were very few were stocked in the first place. Still, haute fashion forges spectacularly on.
