The circle line may not be everyone’s desired line on the London tube but something is opening there that jut may change that opinion; The Barbican Lounge. The Barbican building itself is an impressive building used for the arts including hosting film, music, and theatre events.

The new restaurant inside this building, the Barbican Lounge adds a new charming touch. Designed by SHH architects, the color scheme is eye popping. Blue couches and booths are integrated with red and brown wooden chairs and tables designed by SHH and Stefan Bench. The lighting, designed in part with .PSLAB, includes peacock blue floor along with the already colorful furniture.

A staggering 14- meter bar surrounds the lounge and connects the interior with the intimate outdoor terrace. Here, customers can enjoy fresh air as well as having quiet in an urban setting. Elegance oozes from this lounge both inside and out. Use that oyster card and get to the Barbican Lounge– you won’t regret it.
