Chef Clay Conley is chef/owner and has more than two decades of experience in the kitchen.  Originally from the state of Maine, he received his first experience volunteering to work at a local restaurant and that was all it took for Conley who right then just seemed to know his destiny was to create cuisine that brightened people’s life and brought smiles to all who would have the privilege to taste his creations.

As his wife, best friend, and public relations master says, “Clay eventually became a protégé of renowned chef Todd English and worked with the celebrity chef for almost a decade opening restaurants from Boston to Washington D.C., from Las Vegas to Tokyo and now what better place to be than Palm Beach!.In this new space, he focuses on his lifelong passion: creating thoughtful dishes that are stimulating to the palate as well as the eye in an environment inspiring camaraderie and delicious enjoyment.  At Būccan, he brings part of the kitchen “experience” into the dining room.”
