Cirque Du Soleil: Michael Jackson’s The Immortal World Tour

In Montreal, Quebec, Cirque Du Soleil debuted Michael Jackson’s The Immortal World Tour to a 13,000 seat, sold out, opening night show. In attendance were Jackson’s three brothers, Tito, Jackie and Marlon, as well as his mother Katherine Jackson and his three children, Blanket, Paris and Prince.

The opening night was the kick off to a 47 city, 2 year tour, ending in December in Las Vegas where the show will come to rest permanently. The show is compsoed of 24 musical scenes, including more than 60 of Jackson’s hit songs. Jamie king, the director and photographer of the show, says ” [Michael] is very much alive — his spirit , his hand, his guidance and strive for perfection — is all over this.”
