Chef Tanis Leaving Chez Panisse
Chef David Tanis is leaving Chez Panisse in the fall after 25 years of working at this Alice Waters landmark. Tanis will be handing off his chef’s hat to his co-chef Jean-Pierre Moulle to concentrate on his new column for the New York Times and his third cookbook endeavor. Tanis considers Panisse to be “a place I shall always consider home and family. ”
