Bally Is Super Exhibition Celebrates 160 Years Of Shoes

Bally’s flagship Zurich store is preparing to host a rare exhibition starting November 16, 2011 as part of the Swiss luxury brand’s year long 160th anniversary celebration. For the second year running, Bally is partnering with Zurich University of the Arts (ZHdK) to produce the ‘Bally Is Super’ exhibition.

Students from ZHdK Style&Design were invited to visit Bally’s archive at Schoenenwerd to develop ideas and found their inspiration in an original Bally shoe line and logo titled ‘BIS – Bally Is Super’. Twelve design students created the ‘Bally Is Super’ exhibition which takes visitors on a journey to discover 160 years of Bally shoe history, presented in various installations using a range of media formats.
The exhibition then runs until December 31, 2011.
