Audemars Piguet Partners With Patagonia Sur

Audemars Piguet has announced a partnership as a founding member of the Corporate Conservation Circle (C3) of Patagonia Sur. C3 is an innovative business model dedicated in the battle against climate change, improving biodiversity and replenishing the forests of Patagonia.

Audemars and Patagonia have partnered up based on a common interest in the conservation and protection of ecologically valuable ecosystems, especially in the Chilean forests of Patagonia. Twenty years ago, Audemars Piguet created the Audemars Piguet Foundation with a goal in nature conservation and raising awareness in youth. The match is flawless.

With its new partnership, Audemrs will add fourteen acres to the already 600 acres of Patagonia conservation. To launch the partnership, during the new edition of Salon Internacional de Alta Relojeria, Audemars will offset carbon emissions by creating a green friendly suite as well as planting three trees per visitor.

The partnership is already making steps in their environmental crusade. In June 2011, the partners created a Tony Awards Green Room and Gifting Suite, thereby offsetting carbon emissions generated by the attendees, presenters and performers travelling to New York City for the event.

Some benefits to joining C3 include Carbon Credit Certificates; Patagonia nature reserve access; management communication and marketing; and “green consultants” to support its members and focus their business toward a sustainable management.
