Blue Door Fish takes a seriously innovative hand at Lobster, and succeeds flawlessly. Introducing the Homard Banana: roasted Maine lobster, caramelized banana, brown butter and cilantro lime sauce. The flavor combinations in this dish have earned it a glowing reputation. If you’d rather play it safe, go with one of the seafood “Plateaus” or the Maine Lobster made your way, a la plancha.

You’re sure to satisfy your lobster craving at A Fish Called Avalon. Choose from 1 lb. Maine Lobster from the raw bar or opt for one of the several cooked options. Cooked lobster dishes include Orzo Paella, Seafood Risotto, Twine Whole Maine Lobster, Sake and Tarragon Glazed Lobster Tails and Lobster Agnolotti. Take your pick.

This is one of those cases where a restaurant known for being a steakhouse serves equally superior seafood. As was the case in the prior restaurant, Smith & Wollensky may be known for their dry aged steaks, but their seafood is not to go unnoticed. Try the Lobster Mango Salad with applewood bacon, sweet mango chutney and avocado aioli, served with a crispy tortilla garnish. For a more extravagant option, order the Shellfish Bouquet, a tower of chilled lobster and crabmeat with jumbo shrimp, oysters and clams.
