The Well Helps Grant Wishes

The Well Lounge is a new Miami hotspot that is celebrating it’s grand opening in a charitable way. Instead of the usual party, this new 4,000 square foot lounge is hosting an auction to raise money for The Make-a-Wish Foundation of South Florida on Friday, September 23, 2011. The event will be hosted by the lounges co-owners Buzzy Sklar of Burger & Beer Joint and Automatic Slims and Shareef Malnik, proprietor of The Forge Restaurant | Wine Bar.
This new lounge is trying to light a spark in the Miami night scene. Instead of the usual club or bar, it will feature comfortable seating and an extensive drinks list with the aim being for tourists and locals alike to mingle and relax together without completely emptying their wallets. The grand opening will feature drinks from Ketel One Vodka. Hosts for the evening include: Mr. & Mrs.Drew Mandala,Erin Newberg, Kelly Blair and David Haller. The even will have an auction of 20 bar stools with the price tag starting at $500. 100 percent of the proceeds will go to the Make-A-Wish foundation of Southern Florida. Donations are also accepted. The Make-A-Wish foundation grants wishes to children with life threatening conditions. This charitable foundation does whatever they can to make the wishes come true for the children whether it be meeting a celebrity, attending an event or going on an exotic vacation with their family.
