San Francisco’s Innovative Power Players

It may not come as a surprise to hear that San Francisco is a hotbed for talented and successful businessmen and women, and in fact, some of the best in the country reside in the city. Haute Living takes a look at the top 12 “New Establishment” list according to Vanity Fair.
According to style magazine Vanity Fair (and many who agree with them), San Francisco is the new epicenter for power, influence and innovation in business. In the magazine’s 2011 list of the most influential people in the nation, a solid 21 of the 50 slots were individuals who live in the San Francisco Bay Area.
Among the elite group of the nation’s brightest, of course, is Mark Zuckerberg of Facebook who came in at number 1. Take a look at who else made the cut from San Francisco:
1. Marc Zuckerberg (Facebook)
2. Serge Brin and Larry Page (Google)
4. Tim Cooke and Jonathan Ive (Apple)
5. Jack Dorsey (Square, Twitter)
6. Marc Andreessen and Ben Horowitz (Andreessen Horowitz)
7. Reed Hastings (Netflix)
