Marni Store Now Open in Mall of the Emirates

Marni opens its latest flagship store in partnership with Al Tayer Insignia in the Mall of Emirates in Dubai. The design of the 133 square meter boutique establishes distinct zones to create definition and optimal space, while the subtle palette creates a light and intimate atmosphere.

Based on circular geometry the focal points around the store are punctuated by seating which curves around display tables and overhung ceiling clouds casting flattering light. Broken up by a central cluster of stainless steel display trees, different areas encourage full exploration of the Marni collections, starting first with jewellery and bags near the
entrance of the boutique.

A sinuous mirror-polished stainless steel rail carrying the ready-to-wear collections accentuates perspective and attracts the visitor in to explore. A curving rear wall lines an area dedicated to the shoe collection and is accented by backlit natural fibreglass display boxes, drawing attention on the accessories. Set apart from the main space, another ready-to-wear rail provides greater intimacy for viewing. Generously proportioned fitting rooms and an enclosed ante fitting room provide increased privacy.

The palette of the new space is delicate and minimal featuring pale grey lacquered wall panelling, white lacquered
displays and white upholstery, natural fibreglass boxes and hanging mannequins build subtle layers of texture, while a soft yellow carpet provides a light and airy backdrop. The façade is kept as minimal as possible, allowing clear views to the store.

Marni, the eclectic women’s clothing and accessories line designed by Consuelo Castiglioni, entered the international fashion frontier in 1994. Castiglioni has worked closely with architecture firm Sybarite to create a clean and elegant setting, which provides unexpected and captivating ways of presenting the Marni ready-to- wear and accessories collections.

Racks are now full items from the latest A/W 11 collection featuring luscious 60s inspired wear.
