Mark Zuckerberg Tops Forbes List of Richest Americans Under 40
All hail the social network as Facebook co-founder CEO Mark Zukerburg trumps Google co-founder CEO by a haute $2.4 billion. 11 years younger than that Google guy, Mark Zukerburg has become the richest person under 40.
According to Forbes list of the richest Americans, Zuckerberg’s paper wealth of $19.1 billion surpasses that of Google’s co-founders Larry Page and Sergey Brin, who are worth about $16.7 billion, Apple CEO Steve Jobs ($7 billion) only behind Microsoft co-founder Bill Gates ($59 billion) and Oracle founder Larry Ellison ($33 billion).

According to Forbes.com, Facebook’s Mark Zuckerberg is now richer than the founders of Google. Earlier this week, publicly-traded closed-end mutual fund GSV Capital bought 225,000 shares of Facebook at an average price of $29.28 per share for a total valuation of $70 billion.
And so, Facebook Inc.--headed by San Francisco Haute Lister Marc Zuckerberg-- is expected to go public in the spring at a valuation of $100 billion or more, which would place it proudly amongst the most valuable companies in the world. Facebook's IPO is expected to create over 1000 millionaires.
