Local Celebrities Join Forces at The Falls in Support of Breast Cancer Awareness Month
by Alison Agudo

On October 6, The Falls will host its first annual “Strut Your Stuff For Cancer” fundraising event to benefit Cancer Support Community Greater Miami, Sandy B. Muller Breast Cancer Foundation and La Liga Contra El Cancer.

The event will take place from 6 p.m. to 9 p.m. and will be presented by Baptist Health Breast Center and Williamson Cadillac and will recognize National Breast Cancer Awareness Month. The goal is to shed light on local charitable organizations that help families and patients overcome challenges during the treatment and recovery process. Apart from non-melanoma skin cancer, breast cancer is the most common cancer among women in the United States.

Local celebrities will be in attendance, including Tamara G., co-host of the COAST 97.3 FM morning show, Roxanne Vargas, Nathalie Pozo, Amara Sohn, Sasha Andrade, Johanna Gomez, Lisett Mari, Leticia Hernandez and Sonia Parissos. Many will take part in the runway show featuring “well-heeled” cancer survivors and those who helped them recover. There will also be live entertainment and a cocktail hour sponsored by Brugal Rum and Rex Goliath Wines.

The Strut Your Stuff registration fee is $25 and that includes an event gift bag and a VIP entrance with 100% of the registration fee benefitting your chosen charity.

Register with your charity of choice: Cancer Support Community Greater Miami, Liga Contra el Cancer and Sandy B. Muller Breast Cancer Foundation. For more information, you can also contact The Falls, one of Florida’s largest open-air retail and entertainment destinations at (305) 255-4570.
