iPhone Brings Fashion to Our Fingertips

Fashion? There’s an app for that, thanks to Snapette, a new photo sharing app for the iPhone. The app focuses on shoes and handbags and allows style enthusiasts to browse, search and comment on the inventory of local boutiques.

At the touch of the screen, users gain access to the price of the item of interest, store directions and comments from other users.

Snapette’s featured section allows local boutiques and consignment shops to display their inventory, send sale and special event notifications to regular users.

The app also includes a ‘What’s Hot’ section, featuring a list of the world’s most desired items. At the top of the list? A pair of animal print peep-toe pumps by Dolce & Gabbana found by a user in Tokyo, Japan.

Snapette is available on the App store.
