Haute Fashion: Charlotte Ronson at Mercedes-Benz Fashion Week

While the official sport of Mercedes-Benz Fashion Week may be watching the runways, there are just as many eyes trained on the front row as the parade of models walks by in designers’ latest collections. Charlotte Ronson, the beloved designer of singers, starlets and celebrities that go for a laid-back style, showed a collection that perfect for beach vacations and red carpet receptions.

Patchwork, lingerie-inspiration and the use of hand-made techniques like crochet and embroidery were all a part of her collection, which featured everything from flowing dresses (which stole the show) for night and easy separates for day. Behind the scenes, Sephora provided makeup services — it marked the debut of Ronson’s line of color cosmetics at Sephora — while models were prepped with Hydroxatone products like the Instant Lift Pads, an editor’s favorite. The look was fresh and clean, like the clothes, so models walked the show looking perfect for shoreside getaways, formal affairs and star-studded events alike. Ronson’s sister Annabelle Dexter-Jones walked the show (as she’s known to do, since big sis Charlotte has cited her as a muse) to roaring applause from the audience during her passes down the runway.

The front row was shining with celebs and supporters like Kelly Osbourne and Whitney Port, who both glowed, while the show was DJ’d by Charlotte’s twin sister Samantha. A family affair indeed.
