Dori’s World: New York Fashion Week, Charlotte Ronson & Diane Von Furstenberg

Two of my favorite shows during New York Fashion Week are Charlottoe Ronson and Diane Von Furstenberg because they are filled with friends and fun.
Charotte Ronson’s show was Saturday night at Lincoln Center. Samantha Ronson, Ali Wise and Kelly Osbourne were there, the clothes were great and the party was fun. The DVF show was Sunday and brought lots of fabulous people out including fellow designers Valentino and Oscar de La Renta, Rchel Zoe, Nicky Hilton, Poppy Delevigne, Barry Diller, Carlos Souza, Coco Brandolini, Lorenzo Martone, Anne Mcnally, Ahn duong and Anna Dello Russo. Diane showed such great new paterns and bright colors for next season followed by dinner at Indochine where Mayor Bloomberg came and gave a speech. Such a great evening!
Charlotte Ronson was fun and young with great styles. Sister Samantha Ronson DJed while the rest of the family was there to support Charlotte. Also there were her friends Nicky Hilton, Ali Wise, Jonathan Cheban, Eleanor Ylvisaker and Shoshanna Gruss.
New York Fashion wee has begun! First up, was the Peter Som show this morning which was great! I loved the furs, the flowy gowns and the tight pants.
Ever-chic and sophisticated, Haute 100 lister Diane Von Furstenberg rolled out the black carpet for her Fall 2012 designs.
Haute 100 Lister Diane von Furstenberg's Fall 2012 accessories premiered on the runway to much fanfare. This week, the who's who of the fashion industry was invited to get up close and personal with DVF's collection at the designers studio.
Haute 100 lister and style icon Diane von Furstenberg is conquering unchartered territory. To the second power. The couture designer is reaching the masses by collaborating with Gap for her new line but she is also appealing to a new sets of fashion aficionados; a pint size set.
Designer Charlotte Ronson is expanding her fashion/lifestyle brand by debuting a line of makeup exclusively available at Sephora.
Diane Von Furstenberg, the designer known for her signature prints, is teaming up with Gap to launch a global kids and baby collection. The line will be called Gap by Diane von Furstenberg and is expected to be available for purchase in March 2012 at GapKids and babyGap stores as well as online.
Talk about the quintessential power breakfast--yesterday the National Resources Defense Council spearheaded its mission to clean up the fashion industry via its "Clean by Design" campaign at a breakfast held in New York City. The campaign has the support of fashion world heavyweights including the C...
The mood that blanketed New York City yesterday was an interesting one, fashion week is in full swing, but the ten-year anniversary of 9-11 made the idea of celebrating a little bit hard to swallow. However, little things here and there spoke to our strength as Americans.
Vivienne Tam’s Spring/Summer 2012 collection was inspired by the serene Zen gardens in Asia, in addition to the glamour of the 1970s. Shades of orange, denim patterns, and quirky knits are some of the trends that made their way down the runway at Charlotte Ronson, with sisters Samantha and Annabel...
