Cheval Knightsbridge gets a refurb

On your marks, get set, book a room!

It’s under a year until the Olympic Games in London. If you have managed to secure a ticket, congratulations.  If you have booked a London hotel room, an even bigger congratulations. Rooms at the likes of the Lanesborough, Park Lane, W, Meriden are already booked out, while the Hilton has “as part of [its] commitment to the winning bid” allocated most of its rooms and suites to Olympic organisers.

Fortunately for those who aren’t friends with Lord Coe yet want to be in the thick of things, there is another accommodation option: step forward the Cheval Residences –London’s market leader in luxury serviced apartments.

The properties are based in primer areas of London including Kensington, Sloane Square and the City, but it’s the Knightsbridge residences that Haute Living is getting in lather about.

Located opposite Harrods and close to Harvey Nichols, Cheval Knightsbridge (which features a selection of modern two and three-bedroom apartments, mews houses and three-bedroom townhouse properties, making them perfect for families and friends wishing to travel together) is currently undergoing a major refurbishment of its 11-17 Cheval Place property.  This includes eight two-bedroom apartments, plus the building of two brand new two-bedroom penthouse suites.  Leading designer, Helen Ellery, is incorporating her quirky style to make Cheval Knightsbridge one of the most stylist places to stay in central London.  The project is due to be finished in April 2012 – just in time for the London 2012 Olympics. Result.

Prices start from £850 per week for a studio apartment and rise to £6,200 per week for a four bedroom penthouse. For more information or to make a reservation, please call +44 (0)20 7341 7052 or visit www.chevalresidences.com
