Alicia Keys Co-Directs Lifetime Movie for Breast Cancer Awareness with Aniston, Moore, Others

R&B superstar and philanthropist Alicia Keys has joined with actresses Jennifer Aniston, Demi Moore, and others on her latest project, a movie on the Lifetime channel, which Keys co-directs. The stunning trio is featured in October’s Glamour magazine in honor of Breast Cancer Awareness Month and discuss how the disease have brought them together in this project.

The film is called Five and is themed around how breast cancer has affected the lives, families, and futures of five women. Each women has their own storyline, but remain connected through some means. Each of the co-directors was singly in charge of their own storyline. On her decision to take on the project as a director, Keys said, “After I read the scripts, I felt like this was something important, and I wanted to be a part of it.”

The five directors for the film are Keys, Aniston, Moore, Penelope Spheeris, and Patty Jenkins, and will star Jeanne Tripplehorn, Ginnifer Goodwin, Patricia Clarkson, Rosario Dawson, and Lyndsy Fonseca. Also on the star-studded cast list are Josh Holloway, Jennifer Morrison, Taylor Kinney, Bob Newhart, Annie Potts, Tony Shalhoub, Jeffrey Tambor, and Tracee Ellis Ross.
