Wolfgang Pucks Opens CUT in London
by Mollie Lichy

Wolfgang Puck, the famous multimillionaire chef is due to open his first restaurant in Europe on September 1st.  CUT, at 45 Park Lane, London, the eatery also located at the Beverly Wilshire at the Hotel Bel-Air, will introduce Puck’s cuisine to London instead of New York or Miami.  The always personable and friendly Austrian chef who owns 20 fine-dining restaurants and Wolfgang Puck Express venues, mostly in airports, is expanding his empire across the pond. Although not as famous or well known in Europe, Puck’s opening CUT in London is surprising.  He says that his “plates are full” but if the right deal came along he is willing to open up restaurants in New York and Miami. Puck has cooked for President Barack Obama and First Lady Michelle Obama in January and rubs shoulders with A-listers all day, everyday. He is famous for his Oscar and Emmy parties and caters to top players such as Oprah Winfrey, Maria Shriver, Michael Caine, Elton John, Tom Cruise, Joan Collins, Jay-Z, Mary J. Blige, Gordon Ramsay, Nobu Matsuhisa and the list goes on and on.  Puck plans to expand to the Middle East and Asia where he has successfully established places in Singapore and hopes to continue in Hong Kong and Shanghai.
