Burgundy took center stage this season, turning up on everything from leather sheath dresses to sky high stilettos, thigh-high boots and costume baubles. Items across the board all bled the deep red hue. And while a darker red is traditionally accepted for fall, we found that when implemented in supple leathers, plush velvets or encrusted with crystals, the rich shade only feels more so.
