Pico de Gap Taco Truck Makes The Rounds To Celebs In LA

In celebration of Creative Director Rosella Giuliani’s 1969 fall denim collection, Gap has launched Pico de Gap, a customized vintage taco truck featuring a specialty taco menu created by master chef Marcel Vigneron from Marcel’s Quantum Kitchen and Top Chef.

Pico de Gap kicked off on August 3rd & 4th at the Gap 1969 store on Robertson Blvd. in Los Angeles. Actresses Ali Larter and Amy Smart, comedian Sarah Silverman, actress Odette Yustman Annable with husband Dave Annable, Twilight star Nikki Reed, actresses Jamie Chung, Alexa Vega, Camille Guaty and Spencer Grammer, actors Ben Mckenzie, Evan Ross and Jason Blair all stopped by to check out the new 1969 fall denim collection and enjoy the gourmet taco creations.

The Pico de Gap taco truck also headed to the sets of The CWs 90210 with cast-members Jessica Stroup and Michael Steger, followed by E!’s Chelsea Lately with comedians Heather McDonald, Josh Wolf, Brad Wollak, Chris Franjola and Chuy, before making it’s last stop on the set of the film Jewtopia, where stars Jennifer Love Hewitt, Wendy Malick, Joel David Moore, Rita Wilson and Ivan Sergae, among others were treated to Marcel’s specialty tacos.

Following its debut in LA, Pico de Gap taco trucks will be touring the country, popping up in three additional cities – New York, Chicago and San Francisco – starting August 8th through the end of September.  Each truck will host a different celebrity chef that has designed an exclusive menu for each city, including food expert Katie Lee (NY), Top Chef’s Ryan Scott (San Francisco), and Rich Gresh of David Burke’s Primehouse, (Chicago).
