Chloé Fall Winter 2011/ 2012 features clothes for a woman with a nomadic and adventurous spirit. These garments come in a patchwork of textures, materials and layering effects as well as mixes of denim, muslin, wools and leathers in contrasting colors. Also featured are reptilian prints associated with genuine exotic hides in graduated camouflage-style compositions on trench coats, blouses and knitwear.

Masculine shirts with patched pockets cut in poplin and contrasting cotton piqué with baggy trousers conjure up a urban flair. Elegant and seemingly sober, this season’s silhouette evokes the style and natural authority of uniform-wearing women. Straight coats and calf length skirts  and dresses with inverted pleats in textured crepes brightened up by jeweled signify this season’s Chloé woman. She is confident,  passionate and comfortable in her luxurious attire.  Her favorite hues are borrowed from nature: black, subtle shades of beige, intense green, almond, burgundy and mango all of which are spiced up with a few bright and strident acidic notes.

Evening wear features light combinations of muslins, organzas and pleated twills as well as ethereal dresses and blouses with delicate ruffs. Sleek and stylish pumps adorn the foot with black patent leather enhanced with touches of white. The straps caress the instep while the buckle straps confine the ankle. In its reptile patchwork version the curve remains refined and feminine.

The spirit of fine craftsmanship is found in rectangular hand-held bags adorned with crocodile and other animal prints. Highlighting the 70’s style, a large soft bag with a maxi laid cord pompom comes in compositions of contrasting colored leathers while a geometric shiny leather version is a reminder of the austerity of uniform. Lastly, the big luxury duffle bag conjures up the charm and style of the nomadic spirit of this season’s collection.
