Mondrian to Open in London
Famed Morgans Hotel Group is in the process of expanding their Mondrian Hotel to the ever so posh city of London. Property Week recently reported that Morgans will transform the Sea Containers House into a 358 bedroom luxury hotel. Since the Sea Containers House became office space instead of a hotel, the new Mondrian will be getting a serious makeover. The property’s developer wants to make the place a mixed-use project by incorporating offices, restaurants and retail space. Situated near the National Theatre, The Tate Modern, the OXO Tower and the Globe Theatre makes this the perfect location where tourists and Londoners can experience the cultural richness of the city.

Morgans Hotel Group will be opening their fourth Mondrian Hotel on the South Bank of London’s Thames River in 2014.
Wednesday September 7th from 7 - 10 p.m the Christopher & Dana Reeve Foundation’s Champions Committee and Clark’s Botanicals will co-host the Night for a Cure benefit in recognition of National Spinal Cord Injury Awareness Month.

Andre Balazs plans to open a London Hotel and the likely location is in the place of an old fire station in Marylebone at Chiltern Street. The proposed site is not very large, so it is unlikely to be a Standard Hotel, but rather another sort of Mercer Hotel.
