First we hear that Fiat has teamed up with Gucci, and now Maserati has followed suit and found it’s designer match in Fendi. The label marriage trend is one we are going to continue seeing in the future, with big names, Maserati and Fendi as the latest to jump onboard.
The GranCabrio Fendi will be unveiled at the Frankfurt Motor Show next month. Designed by Silvia Venturini Fendi at the historical Maserati headquarters in Modena, the car features a three-layered body color named Grigio Fiamma Fendi – a special dark grey with an iridescent golden finish on the surface. Fendi’s symbolic yellow runs along the width of the dashboard, on the doors and on the top of the gear lever as well as the brake callipers and the embroidered headrests. The seats, the wheels, and the rocker panel will feature the Fendi logo. The leather used for the interiors is Cuoio Romano from Fendi’s prestigious Selleria line. The engine boasts a 4.7-litre V8 engine coupled with automatic transmission.
