Last night, some of Miami’s elite gathered to celebrate Kate Betts’ book, Everyday Icon, Michelle Obama and the Power of Style. Hosted by Lara Shriftman, Iran Issa-Khan, Sarah Harrelson and Criselda Breene, the author and her guests enjoyed an evening at Mister Collins in ONE Bal Harbour. Betts, dressed in a kaftan by Jeannie McQueeny, pants by Derek Lam and sporting heels by RK Reed Krakoff, was enthusiastically talking to guests about her first book.

Notable attendees included fashion designer Lady Genie Nuttall and Lord Brabourne, former model Ines Rivero, interior designer Sam Robin, Gary and Dana Shear, Alejandra Torres, Fabio Lopes and Hernan Arriaga.

Grey Goose Vodka took care of thirsty partygoers and ONE Bal Harbour’s Mister Collins served up pretzel bites, mushroom burgers, tuna tartare and shrimp cocktail from the appetizing summer menu.

Guests took home party favors including Cosabella gift cards and lingerie, gift certificates from Curve Soleil and a selection of men’s and women’s Converse (The Chuck Taylor® All Star®) as well as various products by Shiseido and Calypso all in a white leather super-chic Stephanie Johnson wristlet pouch.
