Hip-Hop King Jay-Z Shells Out For ‘Watch The Throne’ Release Party
by Jessica Militare

Hip-hop has taken a breath of fresh air with the recent release of Watch The Throne, a collaboration album from moguls Jay-Z and Kanye West. Jay took to Miami for the LP’s celebration, where he spent over $300,000 for the Sunday night festivities, held at the iconic Fontainebleau Hotel on Miami Beach.

His entourage wined and dined at the hotel’s Italian spot Scarpetta, costing him thousands.

To show the night justice, his crew made their way to the grand LIV nightclub. After 18 bottles of Ace of Spades and some Armand de Brignac bubbly, Hov dropped $250,000, leaving a $50,000 tip.

The recently crowned Hip Hop Cash King of 2011 by Forbes earned $37 million last year.
