Haute Event: Michael Phelps Parties at Marquee

Sixteen-time Olympic swimming medalist Michael Phelps parties at Marquee Dayclub.
Olympic swimmer Michael Phelps spent his Saturday at a pool, but not swimming laps. He partied at Marquee Dayclub at the Cosmopolitan of Las Vegas taking in the sounds of DJs Matt Darey and Larry Tee. Phelps drank tequila and ate a Kobe burger at the hot spot.
On Saturday night, he dined at Tao Asian Bistro at the Venetian, enjoying pork pot stickers, Yellowtail jalapeno and Buddha chicken before heading upstairs to Tao Nightclub where he was later joined by fellow Olympian speed skater Apolo Ohno.
Melissa Rycroft-Strickland and her husband Tye dined at Tao, drinking Love Potion cocktails and snacking on appetizers.
Earlier in the day, Tyson Chandler of the Dallas Mavericks soaked in the sun with friends at.
On Friday night, Phelps was spotted at Lavo at the Palazzo. The Olympian enjoyed a feast of Italian specialties including Kobe meatball, shrimp scampi, New York Strip steak and more. After dinner he headed upstairs to take in the sounds of special guest DJ Politik.
Earlier in the day he took over a cabana at Tao Beach and got into the festivities of Skam Artist Fridays, soaking in the sun and sounds.

On Friday night, Michael Phelps and Apolo Ohno made a late-night stop at Marquee Nightclub at Cosmopolitan of Las Vegas to take in the sounds of Gabriel and Dresden, who kicked off their 2012 Marquee residency with a special performance with JES.
On Saturday night, Diddy hosted a big game party at Tao at the Venetian that he dubbed “Diddy Bowl.” The chart topper enjoyed a dinner of curry scallops, coconut shrimp and sea bass in the Asian bistro’s private dining room while drinking Ciroc Peach.
Celebrity Karaoke kicked off Nov. 14 in the Library at Marquee Nightclub at the Cosmopolitan of Las Vegas. Amid the packed room, a plethora of talented singers took the stage, including a special appearance by a Michael Jackson look-and-sound alike.
On Saturday night, Pauly Shore checked out the EC Twins from a VIP table on the dance floor at Marquee Nightclub at the Cosmopolitan of Las Vegas.
Recording artist and social media correspondent for NBC’s “The Voice” Christina Milian hosted at Moon Nightclub inside the Palms on Saturday night. Milian surprised the crowd by performing her hit songs such as “Dip It Low,” “AM to PM” and “Say I.”
Alex Rodriguez of the New York Yankees was spotted at Marquee Nightclub at the Cosmopolitan of Las Vegas on Saturday night.
On Monday night, Redfoo of LMFAO kicked-off his 2012 residency at Marquee Nightclub at Cosmopolitan of Las Vegas. Apl.de.Ap of The Black Eyed Peas pleased fans as he got on stage and joined in the revelry.
On Friday night, “Dirty Soap” stars Nadia Bjorlin and boyfriend Brandon Beemer were spotted checking out Marquee Nightclub at the Cosmopolitan of Las Vegas, where DJ Porter Robinson was spinning for the night.
The holiday weekend wrapped up with a Monday celebration at Marquee at the Cosmopolitan of Las Vegas that lasted from day until night.
Saturday afternoon, Laura Croft was spotted at Tao Beach at the Venetian for the “Save Second Base” event benefitting the Susan G. Komen Race for the Cure foundation.
