When it comes to power couples, it looks like New England Patriots star quarterback Tom Brady and his wife, supermodel Gisele Bundchen, top the list of the richest celebrity couples. The dashingly good-looking duo even beat out Haute 100 New York power-duo Jay-Z and Beyonce, even with all the recent buzz surrounding them.
The two topped Forbes’ “The World’s Highest-Paid Celebrity Couples” list largely because of the numerous fashion and endorsement deals they hold. Bundchen reportedly earned $45 million over the past 12 months and Brady took in $31 million, making the couple’s combined earnings a whopping $76 million in the past year alone.
Additionally, Bunchen’s rise as a supermodel, icon, and businesswoman makes her well on the way to becoming the world’s first billionaire supermodel.
Jay-Z and Beyonce came in second on the list, and took in a combined $72 million over the last year, with the bucks rolling in from Beyonce’s clothing line and numerous endorsement deals, and from Jay-Z’s 10-year, $150 million deal with Live Nation, which he signed three years ago, and additional funds as a shareholder in the New Jersey Nets and the 40/40 Club.
Coming in third was acting duo Angelina Jolie and Brad Pitt with a combined $50 milion, David and Victoria Beckham in fourth with $45 million together, and Twilight stars Robert Pattinson and Kristen Stewart finish the list in fifth place with a combined $40 million.
