Haute 100 Update: San Francisco 49ers Wait on Fans at Fifth Annual Pasta Bowl for Charity [PHOTOS]

The entire San Francisco 49ers team, including with their owner, Dr. John York, President/CEO Jed York, head coach Jim Harbaugh, and general manager Trent Baalke joined top Silicon Valley CEOs to don aprons on Tuesday, August 9 for their role as celebrity waiters for nearly 1,000 guests at the fifth annual Pasta Bowl at the Santa Clara Convention Center.
The event was a huge hit and featured a U.S. Bank-sponsored premier wine tasting reception of 15 local wineries, a beer garden hosted by Bud Light and Gordon Biersch, hors d’oeuvres, a Wall-of-Wine auction, youth activities like a pizza making station, Sourdough Sam, Gold Rush Cheerleaders, raffle prizes, and photo opportunities.

The 49ers crew laughed and mingled with their patrons as they took a break from the training field for the family-style charity dinner, which was presented by Sandisk and the Silicon Valley Leadership Group.
“I just wanted to say how excited we are as a team and honored to be here tonight to be representing the organization out in the community,” said Harbaugh. “I think nobody does it better than the San Francisco 49ers, in terms of getting out in the community.”

The event sold out, much as it had in its previous four years, and raised over $100,000 for the San Francisco 49ers Foundation to support City Year San Jose/Silicon Valley and Fresh Lifelines for Youth (FLY). At the event, the 49ers Foundation presented each organization with a well-needed check for $50,000.
